Figari Sud-Corse, like much of southern Corsica, enjoys a Mediterranean climate characterized by hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters.
Summer (June to August): This is the peak tourist season in Figari Sud-Corse, with July and August being the hottest months. Average temperatures range from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F), and rainfall is minimal, making it an excellent time for beach activities, hiking, and outdoor dining. However, this is also when the region is most crowded, and prices are at their highest.
Autumn (September to November): The weather remains warm and pleasant in early autumn, with temperatures gradually decreasing from September onward. This is a great time to visit if you prefer fewer crowds but still want to enjoy warm weather. The sea also retains its summer warmth, making it comfortable for swimming.
Winter (December to February): Winters are mild but can be wet and windy. Average temperatures range from 5°C to 14°C (41°F to 57°F). This season is less suitable for beach activities but can be a good time for exploring the interior of the island, as the landscapes are lush and green.
Spring (March to May): The weather begins to warm up, with temperatures ranging from 9°C to 20°C (48°F to 68°F). The island blooms with wildflowers, making it a beautiful time for hiking and exploring the countryside. Rainfall decreases as the season progresses.
